Solar PV and Battery Storage in Stapleton, Leicestershire

The brief from this client was that they wanted to have solar PV installed to help with the rising energy costs and to help lower their carbon footprint. The location for the installation was a barn at the smallholding where the client lives. Our client provided us with their annual consumption data, on which we based our initial design. 

The client decided that because roof space availed capacity for more PV solar generation panels than our design detailed, they would like to "max out" and cover all the available roof space. This additional generation would accommodate the clients growing Electric Vehicle fleet, aid with their greater than average daytime consumption and future-proof the property. Aligned with the client's additional generation capacity, we increased the battery storage capacity, this would ensure minimum import from the grid in the "dark hours" following a day of excellent generation.
